The Kensington Neighbourhood House completed its renovation in May 2010. The works included the addition of an extra classroom upstairs as

 well as expansion of the downstairs area. The additional space allows an increase in the variety and number of programs on offer. The upstairs area has the capacity to be either 2 classrooms or one large conference room.

The building works were funded by the Australian Government through the Teaching and Learning Capital Fund (TLCF) for Vocational Education and Training (VET) and by the Department of Planning and Community Development through their Modernising Neighbourhood Houses Program.
