The Board of KNH and I are absolutely thrilled to announce that our very own Rebecca ‘Bec’ Smith has been appointed as the new Manager of Kensington Neighbourhood House.
Many of you will know Bec and her brilliant work as our Community Education Coordinator, a role she has absolutely smashed for nearly seven years. You may not be as familiar with the role she has played in supporting KNH as Acting Manager in the past, not least in the last seven months as we went on our journey to find the person to lead the organisation into its next exciting phase. Throughout this time Bec has provided brilliant, calm and strategic guidance to the staff and Board, and we are thrilled that we can now formally offer her the Manager’s role.
We’re so excited to support her as she works with our incredible staff, volunteers, house-users and stakeholders to deliver the smart, initiative ideas and solutions she has already proposed to help our amazing little organisation to continue to thrive and grow.
Next time you’re passing please shout a hearty ‘congratulations’ to Bec and wish her all the best with leading the next phase of KNH’s amazing journey.
