About the event
Make your own jams and chutney. Learn the basics of preserving, starting from scratch including the use of sugar, salt and vinegar. During this class you will make pear and vanilla jam, strawberry and rhubarb jam, and apple chutney as well as learn lots of tips and tricks to help you on your way to preserving at home. Therese will teach you preserving basics including sterilizing jars and setting jams. You will receive a jar each of jam and chutney to take home.
