About the event

Djirri Djirri are the only Wurundjeri female dance group and are Traditional Custodians of Narrm (Melbourne) and surrounds. Djirri Djirri will run a dance workshop for us, inviting participants to join in and learn Wurundjeri dance. 

10am: Sharing dance stories - we invite participants to share about dance in their own culture. 

11am: Dance workshop - Djirri Djirri will lead us in a dance workshop. 

12pm: Sharing lunch - we welcome you to bring a plate of food from your culture to share for lunch. 

This is a partnership between Kensington Neighbourhood House and Kensington Reconciliation Action Group and an event for Cultural Diversity Week. The theme is 'Our Shared Stories - Celebrating Together'.
